On Sunday, February 8, Children and Family Ministries hosted an appreciation brunch for our Church School Teachers. We had a wonderful turnout, and many families joined in honoring our dedicated volunteers.
The two weeks prior, the children drew pictures and wrote about why their teachers are special to them. Some children drew pictures of their favorite activities in the Sunday School classrooms. Others thanked their teachers for helping them learn about the Bible and Jesus’ teachings. Still others thanked their teachers for helping them feel better when someone dies. These letters and drawings were assembled and bound into a book for each teacher. The books and flowering plants were presented to the teachers during the brunch.

Each family brought in an item for our brunch, which was delicious. The children also used their engineering skills to make paper chains to decorate the tables. A delightful time was had by all. We are so appreciative of our fabulous teachers, who so generously volunteer their time to work with our children every week.
